A gas Coriolis mass flow meter directly measures the mass flow rate of a gas using the Coriolis effect, which causes a vibrating tube to twist as gas flows through it. This twisting is detected by sensors at the inlet and outlet, and the resulting phase shift is directly proportional to the gas's mass flow rate.
