2. Superior Media Compatibility and Safety (Hydrogen Embrittlement Resistance)
High-nickel 316L stainless steel is a key advantage for hydrogen applications. Standard 316L stainless steel may experience hydrogen embrittlement upon prolonged exposure to high-pressure hydrogen, leading to reduced ductility and even cracking. This high-nickel 316L stainless steel significantly improves its resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. This ensures its long-term structural integrity and safety in high-pressure hydrogen environments.
3. Specialized Interface Suitable for High-Pressure Gases
Process Interface: 3/4-inch Ferrule Connection. Compared to flange connections, double ferrule connections are the optimal choice for high-pressure gases and small-diameter pipelines. They provide a metal-to-metal hard seal, where the sealing force increases with system pressure, resulting in an extremely low risk of leakage. This makes them highly suitable for high-pressure, flammable, and explosive gases like hydrogen, while also requiring more compact installation space.
4. High Accuracy and Wide Turndown Ratio
Accuracy: 0.5 grade (i.e., ±0.5%). Achieving this accuracy within a flow range of 0-10 kg/min is crucial for transaction settlement. In commercial sales activities at hydrogen refueling stations, the accuracy of the flow meter directly affects the fairness and accuracy of billing.
5. Flexible and Safe System Integration
Split-type installation: The transmitter (display unit) can be installed in a safe area or control cabinet away from the sensor, allowing operators to safely read data and configure settings, while the sensor is directly mounted on the high-pressure pipeline.
