1. The operating temperature range of aviation lubricating oil is extremely wide (-50 to 350°C), and its volume changes drastically with temperature. All volume-based flow meters (such as gear-type and turbine-type) suffer from severe reading inaccuracies under these conditions. They must rely on complex temperature compensation systems, and even then, accuracy is difficult to guarantee.

2.Mass is conserved and does not change with temperature. This fundamentally eliminates the issue of measurement reference shifts caused by the extreme temperature variations in aviation lubricating oil, providing the most accurate and reliable data on oil consumption and lubrication efficiency.

3. A single instrument simultaneously covers both extreme low-temperature (cold start) and extreme high-temperature (full power operation) conditions.
